Inspired by my Argentinian mother and encouraged by my Brazilian father, an artist and a photo journalist respectively, I stepped through the doors of my first photo studio, as an intern at the age of eighteen. The studio belonged to Bob Wolfenson, arguably Brazil’s most well known fashion photographer. After working at his side for 6 years in Sao Paulo, and evolving from an intern straight out of high school to his first assistant, I made the life-changing decision to move to New York.

From the moment I arrived, I aspired to work with the best in the business and my experience helped me to land a position in the studio of Craig McDean. Again, working side by side with top influencers, I moved up the ranks to become his first assistant after less than a year, and continued to work with him for a total of three years.

Witnessing the revolution of digital photography as it surpassed film, I shifted my career from behind cameras to behind computers. As a Digital Tech and On-Set Retoucher for the prominent post-production studio, Dtouch, I participated in the creative processes of some of the leading names in the fashion world: Steven Meisel, Hedi Slimane, Camilla Akrans, Mark Segal, Fabian Baron & Richard Burbridge, to name a few.

Gaining a high level of technical skill after four years at Dtouch, I branched out to other post-production houses including Urban, Bespoke and Nucleus – delivering images that executed the creative vision of clients such as Cole Haan, Kenneth Cole, Michael Kors and DKNY.

With the camera calling me back to the studio, I now combine my decades of experience, technical knowledge and artistic passion to create my own images & stories, for such clients as Karl Lagerfeld Paris and Wilsons Leather.

Although it’s been more than twenty five years since I first stepped into the studio, I am still driven by the power of creativity and the opportunity to collaborate with talented people on meaningful projects.
